The Day the Music Died

Saddened by the news of musician Prince’s death, we take a step back and take stock of what is most valued in our lives. Sometimes, my boyfriend and I giggle about what the future may have to hold for us, like how we might feel after hearing of the tragic passing of Nicky Minaj or something absurd. Yet, the day comes. And though we know it, it’s still shocking as ever.
